APC POLICY
Research and Advances in Medicine follows a transparent Article Processing Charge policy to support open-access publishing and long-term availability of scholarly content. The Article Processing Charge is applicable only after a manuscript has successfully completed editorial screening, peer review, and has been formally accepted for publication.

The APC is payable only after acceptance of the manuscript. Payment of APC does not guarantee publication and does not influence editorial decisions, reviewer comments, peer review outcome, or acceptance of any manuscript.
No Submission Fee
Research and Advances in Medicine does not charge authors for submitting manuscripts. Authors can submit their work for editorial consideration without paying any submission fee.
What the APC Covers
The Article Processing Charge helps support the costs involved in scholarly publishing, including manuscript processing, peer review coordination, editorial workflow management, article formatting, online publication, website maintenance, digital archiving, administrative support, and long-term accessibility of published articles.
Editorial Independence
All editorial decisions are based only on scientific quality, originality, relevance, ethical compliance, clarity of presentation, and reviewer/editorial assessment. Article Processing Charges are completely independent of the editorial and peer review process.
Payment Only After Acceptance
Payment instructions will be shared with the corresponding author only after the manuscript has been accepted for publication. Authors should not make any payment before receiving an official acceptance communication from the journal.
Waiver and Discount Policy
The journal may consider partial waivers or discounts in genuine cases, especially for students, and authors from low-income country groups. Waiver or discount requests should be made before final acceptance and will be reviewed by the editorial office.
Refund Policy
Once an accepted article has been published online, the Article Processing Charge is generally non-refundable. Refund requests, if any, may be considered only before publication and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the editorial office.
